Thunderjam watched her out of the corner of his eye. He smiled, but continued to graze. His sides heaving as he breathed. Her scent forever entering his nares. He nudged her happily and nuzzled her belly.

Perhaps Artemis would never have a mate who she would stay with for the rest of her life. Perhaps she was just not destined to live that way, but now, standing there next to Thunderjam, she did not mind at all. No matter if they could not have the title of real mates, no matter if they would not be able to continue their relationship forever; she was determined to make the most and cherish it while it lasted. Smiling at his touch, she reached out to brush her muzzle against his side.

Thunderjam looked at her and tossed his head gently. He looked at her and said, "What do you think about a foal?" He watched her, hoping she would want one with him. Even if one was all they could have.

Artemis's head raised, auds pricked, and she was instantly alert as Thunderjam began to speak, and her eyes widened slightly at the possibilities. Of course, there were plenty of rational reasons why she could - perhaps even should - say no, but at the same time it was terribly tempting, and terribly romantic. After all, if the two were forced to split up for whatever reason, wouldn't it be wonderful to have a lasting reminder of their love, however fleeting. A moment later she had nodded, touching her muzzle to his nape. "A tribute to us," she answered with a slight smile, "So that we never forget our feelings."

Just what I was thinking. He smiled happily and ran his muzzle along her cheek and her nape. He nuzzled her happily and moved closer to her side. He nuzzled his cheek against her rump lovingly.

Ooc|| I think perhaps after this the two should argue before they go back to their own herds. Make it so that Artemis is all against the Garans again?
The silver-grey mare’s ears flickered in Thunderjam’s direction as he spoke and she nodded, though she did not speak. Her head was turned slightly to allow her gaze to follow him, her eyes gleaming slightly as she watched him. Her pelt was warmed beneath his touches, her expression determined. She loved him; nothing would stand in the way of that. She would not allow it to. Caught up in the moment, she smiled, reaching out to brush her muzzle against his cheek before remaining still, ready for what was to come.

Thunderjam moved toward her rump. Rearing, he landed gently upon her back. Doing his business, he released his seed and dismounted. He snorted, nuzzling her softly. He ran his muzzle up and down her back. He moved toward her side and looked at her.

The ashen coloured mare's gaze followed Thunderjam's movements as he moved towards her hindquarters, quickly shifting her position into a steady, prepared one, knowing what was to come. Sure enough, a moment later she felt the stallion place his weight gently upon her back. She braced herself, but she was not a weak mare, and it was not difficult to adjust to the slightly unusual feeling as he began. When she felt his weight lift from her back as he dismounted she looked to him once again, her auds flicking in his direction at his gentle touches, and she reached out to press her muzzle lightly to his side.
A slight smile touched her features, though it faded a moment later as she sighed softly. "I suppose you'll have to go running back to Dorado, soon," she muttered sadly.

"Yes I will m'love." He looked at her and then looked around protectively. He snorted and turned his watch back to her. He loved her, but he was her enemy.
