"I hope not. I just really need to go before Dorado finds out." He looked at her and said, "I'm sorry." He turned toward Dorado's lands. He sent one nuzzle upon her nape before trotting off. He really did not want to get caught by Dorado.

Artemis nodded silently, understanding. If Dorado found out about what Thunderjam had just been doing, about who he had just been talking to, then she was sure that the stallion would be punished most severely. Somehow, for some reason, she found herself hoping that he didn't get into trouble because of her. It was irrational, but his nuzzle was warm, comforting, and even welcome. She tried to push away thoughts of him, telling herself that he was a sworn enemy, but somehow she just couldn't. Nodding silently, she turned away.
